Chief Adam Crum graduated Sheldon Clark High School in 1993. He then attended Morehead State University were he studied Criminology. Chief Crum started his career in Law Enforcement with the Martin County Sheriffs Office in 2003. He began working with the Inez Police Dept. in April of 2004 and graduated the Department of Criminal Justice Training in August 2004. Chief Crum received the Recruits Award and Coordinators Award of Class #345 upon graduation. He polished his skills as Sergeant of the Inez Police Dept. before being promoted to Chief of Police in May of 2008.
Since graduation from DOCJT, Chief Crum has continued his education in Law Enforcement in the areas of Police Chiefs training, Police Executive Command Course, Narcotics investigations and other specialized training in Law Enforcement. In addition to his continued education, Chief Crum had also received instuctor status in CTS Less Lethal and Taser certifications. He has also received Certified Intermediate Officer certification through the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council.
